My Road Back - Entry 2 day 8 - What a week it has been. I just returned from my 2nd run, 3.5K, yes it is short but it is a start, Took 3 minutes off of the time I did on Monday. Still slow but getting better. a couple more runs and I will increase my distance. It is utterly amazing how good working out makes me feel. It has been almost 10 years since I have worked like this, and if the 1st week is any indication, I am very excited to see how I do on day 30. Look out Lake Wilcox I will be back soon!!

8 workouts down, 22 to go.... Then onto phase 2 or my journey

MY ROAD BACK.....as many of you know I have had a somewhat rough 18 months. Between my Mothers passing, turning 50 and constantly getting various colds, it has been a rough time for me.
On May 11 I made a major decision..... time to get back into shape and lose weight. As I was on my bike I came up with a unique and challenging concept that I have dubbed 30-30-30. It goes as follows 30 days, 30 workouts 30 minutes each (plus of minus a few minutes) Since that time I have been on the bike 4 times, swam 2 times and run once.... 7 workouts in 7 days short and sweet workouts, but done daily it should be a good start to MY ROAD BACK...... watch for more posts ...My challenge continues!!
