02.22.2010 - THORNHILL MASTERS place 8th at the Ontario Masters Swimming Championships

On the weekend of March 19 - 21, the Thornhill Masters Aquatic Club continued its rise to the upper echelons of Masters Swimming in Ontario with a 9th place finish at the Ontario Masters Swimming Championships. Since the club entered this event 4 years ago, where it placed 31th out of 62 teams in attendance, THOR has moved steadily up the ranks, and is now recognized as one of the top Swim Clubs in the province. With the summer coming soon, THOR will we operating a summer session starting in July. In addition to working out of Thornlea Pool, this summer the club will start training out of the new North Thornhill Community Center pool in Thornhill Woods. More information to follow.
